I don't do reviews but this company is Amazing. Prior to Lawn doctor I used two other services with negative results. When I switched to lawn doctor my lawn was diseased dying and one large area completely burned out from prior service. One year later with Lawn Doctor and I can't believe the results. My grass is dark green and growing like crazy. Even Spreading to areas that never had grass. Additionally the owners are incredibly nice and swing by occasionally to check the progress of my lawn. All of the technicians are enthusiastic and work hard. If you are looking for a service provider, or considering switching (I would) look no further. Incredible results from a company with integrity and work ethic...you will get more than you pay for from a company you can trust. ~ K H

I am absolutely thrilled with the recent landscaping work done by Dennis Hernandez and his team. From the beginning, he exhibited professionalism, understood my request, and was very knowledgeable about what would work well for my project. The initial consultation was both informative and reassuring, setting the stage for a smooth project. What impressed me most was the efficiency and respect the crew demonstrated throughout the project. They were punctual and meticulous and went above and beyond to minimize disruption to our daily lives. The work area was kept tidy, reflecting their professionalism. We have been using Lawn Doctor for over a year now. With the weather and restrictions in water are grass looks great. My number one thing that I like the most after the lawn Doctor comes is when I look at other people's yards and the they are growing weeds out of control or people out there pulling their weeds. I look at my yard and I don't think I've pulled more than one or two weeds per season it's worth having lawn Doctor come out just to control the weeds... But the fact that we went almost a whole season without watering our grass even once because we didn't know where sprinklers were broken and the grass looked healthy as ever. The nutrients that lawn Doctor gives your grass is so good you'll be surprised. ~ T G

I am a lawn care professional with 22 years experience in the lawn and landscaping maintenance industry and also a licensed commercial applicator providing weed controls as a competitor to Lawn Doctor. I have never met the owner nor have I ever spoken to him, but I can attest that Lawn Doctor does a great job and knows what they are doing. My company only provides these services to our lawn maintenance customers, but to anyone else that calls us and asks I send them to Lawn Doctor. They use the best products on the market to provide the best & longest lasting results; I know because I recognize the results. I've walked many lawns serviced by Lawn Doctor & I can usually tell it's their work or mine and I can also tell when it's not. Perhaps I'll get the pleasure to meet them one day as well. The communication with this company is excellent. They notify you ahead of time for the service date & unless the weather prevents them coming, they show. The only thing I would change is they seem to rush through the jobs. When we are clearly home, they do not come to the door to see if there are any issues we'd like addressed. We've had to come out to get them. Not an easy task when sometimes they arrive, complete the job & are driving off before we even realized they're there! When we have talked to the technicians, they are very knowledgeable & professional. Appreciate the courtesy & work done. All for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend! ~ Brenda G

My Bermuda grass was suffering with bare patches and weeds and I tried a few other companies out before my neighbor recommended Lawn Doctor, having heard about them from a friend of his. I called Lawn Doctor and spoke to Rich and he was incredibly empathetic and patient. He was very knowledgeable and outlined a plan to address my concerns to get my lawn back in shape. After the first lawn treatment to address the weeds, I received several compliments from my neighbors about a week later about my lawn. We have had Lawn Doctor for a little under a year and they have made my life so much easier. We have a new neighborhood and weeds are a constant problem, but since we've been utilizing Lawn Doctor our weed problems are over and our lawn is so much healthier. These guys are great. After problems with several areas of my yard using another company the year before last, I fired them and hired Lawn Doctor. I wish I'd hired them first, my lawn is doing so much better. They were able to diagnose the issues and treat accordingly. They take the time to explain their findings and treatment recommendations at length so I never felt like I was being pushed into purchasing things I didn't need. The outcome speaks for itself. I've now been using Lawn Doctor for two years and have to say they've made a positive difference in my lawn's appearance. I found Rich and Patsy to be very responsive and professional when I've had questions about my lawn.They give you a heads-up (via automated call) when it's time for your property to be serviced. You can also contact them if you want to move the date. The guys who come out are very professional, and very rarely have they not shown up on time. In any case, I've received calls if they experience a delay. Besides, you don't really need to be home for them to service the lawn as long as they have access to those areas that need to be treated. They have a convenient way to pay online so there's no excuse not to pay on time. You can pay for each appoint or make one annual payment to cover the treatments for the entire season. An invoice is left behind every time they treat your lawn. Of course their invoices say that payment is due upon receipt. Overall, top-notch business. ~ Glenn R

No more hand pulling or flipping a coin with sprays and stuff for the feeders. My neighbor used Lawn Doctor and mentioned it me as I was fussing about the weeds. I said I won’t pull another weed. I was pleasantly surprised. What a difference. I caught them in the summer. I was told this pre emergent in the fall really makes a difference for next summer. Time will tell. I thought it was pricey initially but well worth the time saved and better looking grass. ~ L T

We called Lawn Doctor and, after two years, they continue to provide outstanding service. Today they serviced our lawn and stopped by to give us details of their evaluation, after they serviced our property. Great customer service AND military discounts by this veteran owned business. I love Lawn Doctor out of San Antonio. We live in New Braunfels and the service provided to us is FANTASTIC. Our lawn was weed infested and within 1 treatment we noticed a difference. Any questions I’ve ever had Jared was able to answer. You have to do your part of keeping up with mowing and watering in order for the treatments to work, but it’s TOTALLY worth it. If you’re needing help definitely give them a call. It’s super affordable and no contracts. ~ Janice W

After we bought our home I signed up with another company to assist with weed control in our yard. Had them for two seasons and zero progress was made. In some ways they made my yard worse. Having Lawn Doctor come out quarterly has really made a difference in my lawn. They fertilize, spray for weeds and also apply a moisture retaining product when needed. My lawn has never looked so good before and I receive many compliments on it’s appearance. They are very nice to work with and in cases when there is a conflict for the day they have set up to service they will reschedule without problem. Very reliable. ~ Darlene L

Our lawn as improved tremendously! We constantly fought weeds and trying to keep up with fertilizing and the lawn just never looked quiet right. They came in and the weeds are almost gone, the lawn is thicker and the area we were having issues with, they spent the time to help us troubleshoot that it was a water issue, not actual lawn issue! I have lush green Bermuda grass (hybrid Tif-Tuf), no problem with weeds. Grass is thick despite only watering once a week. Reliable, knowledgeable, dependable service. Lawn Doctor has provided weed control and fertilization for 2 years. Our yard was a weedy mess and now is virtually free. They are reliable, which is a big deal with me, and let us know if there are delays due to weather and when they will be available. They also provide veteran or military discount. ~ Terry B
